This sweet little love came into the studio for her newborn session at nice days fresh and new. She made my job pretty darn easy and loved to be all wrapped up. I was so glad to document such a special time for this sweet family and welcome to the world Elyse!

I realized that I never blogged this amazing engagement session!! Sammi and Scott are getting married this fall and I met them on the lawn at the Rotunda last year for their engagement portraits. We had so much fun… they are both UVA Alumni and had a lot of special spots they wanted to go to. We just wandered around and it was so good for my creative mind….
I can’t wait for their wedding later this year…. it is sure to be a beautiful and special day!

Loved my time with this sweet family. Such adorable children and their daughter Avery was so fun and had a great personality as you will see below! It was chilly but they were great sports and we had a blast!

The last time I saw this cutie was for his newborn session and now he is seven months old and getting so, so big!! Kian is on my “milestones” plan so I get to photograph him again at a year old which I am counting down to. :). His older brother, Cavan, is so sweet and such a fun little boy… full of personality and such a joy. Kian is following in his footsteps with that big smile, but may be a bit more reserved.. time will tell!
We started in the studio and then went outdoors for some very chilly outdoor portraits…. they were good sports about it! Kian didn’t mind the cold at all… as you will see.
