Every now and then I get to step out of my comfort zone and photograph something a little different. Travis and Hannah were recently engaged and asked if I could take their engagement portraits. I have known Travis since he was very young, literally, I think he was about seven or eight when I met his sister Ashleigh. Ashleigh and I were best friends, (still are great friends!) and Travis was her pesky little brother. (I mean that in the nicest way Travis! lol) I have a lot of memories of Travis being around, but the one that sticks out the most is that I taught him how to jump off the diving board. I reminded him of that at his session. Travis is all grown up now and going to college to be a lawyer… he met his beautiful fiancé Hannah at a summer camp. They are so in love and their chemistry was just simply beautiful. They made my job so incredibly easy. I would say, “okay, sit here, do what feels natural” and they just rolled with it. What a nice break from acting like a goof to make kiddos smile at me! Thank you again Travis and Hannah! Best of luck to you both.
