Megan started Oldfields Photography in 2010 with just her camera and a small dream.  The small dream of hers grew into quite a big reality and ten years later, Emily joined Oldfields Photography as associate photographer.  

Megan knew immediately that she wanted to work primarily with families and children in custom portraiture. Within approximately three years of starting Oldfields Photography, she found her passion to be in newborn photography.  She trained under two of the best newborn photographers in the country, working hands on doing mentorships.  She is Charlottesville, VA and surrounding area's most sought after newborn photographer. and is often called a "baby whisperer".  

Artist Statement:
"As long as I can remember, I've always had a photographic memory. As a young child I remember looking out the window and imagining what each and every cloud was shaped like, how to light filtered through the trees, and how the air felt as it blew across my face. I've always been over observant, often feeling things deeper than most people. I find that's what makes me passionate about my art. It's a part of me that I share with the world."
